Golf Ball Drop & Halloween Party to Benefit Leukemia & Lymphoma Society

The Upstate NY & Vermont Chapter of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society presents a November 2nd Golf Ball Drop at the Barns at Lang Farm to benefit cancer research and local patient services provided by LLS. Cash prizes for closest to the pin!Following the Golf Ball Drop will be a Halloween party! Veterans are invited to speak, unscripted, about what their service means to them. All community members are encouraged to attend and to listen. Sponsored by the Saint Michael’s College Military Community Services and Student Veteran Association. Jon Turner, who will host this year’s Chittenden County event, served three deployments with the Marines between 2003-2007. Since his discharge, he has traveled extensively and worked with various communities to assist in the veteran reintegration process from paper-making to outdoor recreation.
