The Essex High nordic skiing teams participated in the Tour de Chittenden between Thursday and Monday (Jan. 9-13) with the Hornets competing in three separate events.

Placing in the top-2 for each event, Essex High School (EHS) senior gymnast Ella Lesny helped keep the Hornets undefeated on the season and capture their third-straight win Friday night (Jan. 3).

The Hornet cross-country teams ran 4th in Thetford at the annual Woods Trail Run. Henry Farrington and Brady Martisus finished 2nd and 4th with Charles Martell 35th, Atticus Phinney-Anderson 67th, L cas Karki 69th, Eli Bo ning 86th, and Val Laverty 96th. U-32 was champ with BHS and SB 5th and 6th.
