In the Vermont Department of Health’s most recent town-by-town report of COVID-19 cases, Essex was listed as having 20 people infected during the week of Feb. 11-17.

New cases for Chittenden County increased significantly with 230 being reported for that same time period compared to the previous week’s total of 152.
