MONTPELIER — Gov. Phil Scott appointed over 120 Vermonters to state boards and commissions this spring. Four of those individuals are from Essex: 

Teresa Sunderland of Essex Junction to the Act 264 Advisory Board

Ruma Kohli of Essex to the Chemicals of High Concern for Children Working Group

Wayne Elliot of Essex Junction to the Vermont Citizens Advisory Committee on Lake Champlain

Michael Smith of Essex to the Vermont Student Assistance Corporation Board of Directors

The Governor’s Office is currently soliciting applications to fill vacancies and upcoming term expirations. All those interested in serving on a board or commission should visit the governor’s website to apply.
