Hoague takes reins of Essex Police, talks next steps for department (copy)

EPD Chief Ron Hoague (left) talks with Essex Unified Manager Evan Teich (right) at the end of his pinning ceremony in July 2020.

In conjunction with the Essex Community Justice Center, the Essex Police Department (EPD) is co-hosting a monthly outreach series with the public.

Chief Ron Hoague will provide the Essex community with opportunities to talk with him directly over video conference, allowing members of the public to learn more about the department, ask questions, and share concerns.

The first installment of “Coffee Chat with the Chief” is scheduled for 9-10:30 a.m. this Friday, Feb. 26. To attend, contact Jill Evans at jevans@essex.org to get the Zoom link set to be sent out Thursday.
