A screening of a film that presents a history of the Abenaki community in Vermont, spanning the years 1790-2005, based on the Missisquoi community in northwest Vermont. The story is told using material culture, maps, archival photographs, and Abenaki actors and "lays to rest the long-held myth that Vermont's Indians disappeared in the late 18th century." No admission charge, though donations are always appreciated. All donations will benefit Alnôbaiwi, who are working toward Indigenous Cultural revitalization.
