The Vermont Youth Rugby Association’s 2013 high school state championships will be played on June 2 at the Tree Farm Recreational Facility in Essex. The girls’ match will kick off at 1 p.m. and the boys’ match will follow at 3 p.m.

In a repeat of the 2012 boys’ title game, Essex will face off against South Burlington. The South Burlington squad also includes players from Champlain Valley Union and Burlington.

The final week’s play will determine which team – Essex or South Burlington – will compete against Rutland in the girls’ championship match.
