Lakers cruise past RedHawks

Laker senior Tommy Critchlow (above) drops down a perfect suicide squeeze bunt to score a run during the Lakers 11-4 win over Champlain Valley Union last week. With the game tied 4-4 in the sixth inning the Laker bats explode. Kris Cauchon ripped an RBI single to get things started while starting pitcher Galen Doud showed off his warning track power with two doubles and three RBI. Critchlow added two hits and three RBI and sophomore sensation Spencer Dandurand (right) picked up the win with three innings of relief for the Lakers who are now 3-2 on the season. Up next for the boys are trips to North Country and Milton.
